Appendicitis and pregnancy!! Please Help!?

Hi! My wife is 30 weeks pregnant and just woke up with a horrible pain on the right side of her stomach. Really low almost near her groin area. It's only on the right side and hurts more when myher leg is completely stretched out or when walking. When she's curled it's not that bad. Well anyway, could it be appendicitis and what would happen with the baby. If it is would they have to deliver the baby already?
