What are the rules when fishing in rivers?

The �5 will not last you a year, ask at the Post Office when you buy it. Trout and coarse fish have a separate (cheaper) licence to salmon and sea trout. Do you really want to take trout as small as 7". Do not forget that you also need the permission of the owner of the fishing rights to fish, the licence only allows you to use a rod and does NOT allow you to go fishing wherever you want to. Enjoy your fishing but please do it legally.
