What type of lizard do I have?

There was a lizard found at my work today, and we ship stuff from over the world. So who knows if it came inf rom something from another country. It has long fingers, brown and black (almost a checkedered) very small. LONG tail. I was thining it could be a salamandor? Not too sure..if so, i have no idea what to feed it. Any help would be great. Thanks!
