Should I switch my 1st grader to another teacher?

If you think she is ready I would defiantly go to the principle no matter how difficult it is. Alot of children that aren't challenged enough will most likely become bored in cl and get into trouble. She is your child you are going to have to stand up for her. If she is that far ahead maybe they should consider moving her up a grade. I know how hard it is to convince the principle that your child's teacher doesn't fit with your child I had that problem last year and could never get anything done about the problem. Go to the school board if she will not help. Good Luck!
